Frequently Asked Questions VAS 2015
Registration and Pricing:
How do I Register?
Please use the registration form. Note that each partner needs to register separately.
What shall I do if I made a mistake in my registration?
This can happen – no worries. If something is wrong in your registration, please let us know by e-mail and we will do some magic on our side to amend your registration.
We kindly ask you not to register again.
In any case please check all your entries before clicking the “submit” button.
You will receive a notification e-mail followed by a registration information including bank details. Please make your payment as soon as possible and not later than 10 days after receipt of the registration information in order to make sure your registration is final!
Only after payment your place is secured.
Some workshops happen at the same time – so please consider possible schedule conflicts before booking your tracks.
Note that you can buy workshop packages as suggested in the registration form (i.e. you cannot trade 2 hours of a specific 4 hour workshop track with 2 hours of another track).
Do I need a partner (Lindy and Balboa)?
We will accept single registrations, however note that we care about lead/follow balance. If the ratio has a strong imbalance, all extras will be put on a waiting list (see below).
How do I get on the waiting list when VAS sells out?
Once a track sells out in either lead or follow, we close registration for that track and open a wait list. The sooner you add your name to the wait list, the more likely you will get into the track. You will not pay until you have been moved from the wait list to the track. We will contact you if and when this happens.
see Terms & Conditions
Who are the organisers?
see Site Notice on bottom of Terms & Conditions
Jill & Jack will be open to all couples, but the ladies need to be leading and the lads need to be following. All coupled swing dances are allowed on the dance floor.
Solo Jazz will be open to everybody.
You can enroll for the respective competition during the respective party night.
Do I need to purchase a party pass or can I go to single parties?
All parties are open to public. You can always purchase a ticket at the door. However please note that space is limited.
Can I join Social Activities without buying a party pass or workshop?
Yes you can! All attendees will be informed about the exact times and venues – and will surely be shared on social media.
We trust in your networking abilities to join the fun.
Are additional expenses covered by my registration?
All additional costs that may be connected to social activities (e.g. buying coffee & cake, entrance fees, etc.) are not included in the registration fee. Sorry.
